Proof of insurance
Varies
Your policy must carry at least $1M per occurrence and $2M aggregate in commercial general liability, include host liquor liability if alcohol is served, and name the venue as additional insured. Costs nothing if you’re already covered. If not, one‑off event policies are widely available online — price depends on your guest count, event type, and whether there’s a bar. We don’t sell insurance and take nothing from it.

The Marq wins this one.
This room wins outright on receptions, launches, trunk shows, mixers, and parties — anything where people stand, move, and drink. The lounges and the bar are already built, so there is almost nothing to rent, and the saving is real: $2,475 on the reception above, 35% under The Marq.
A formal seated dinner is the other way round. Once you are renting 200 place settings, a ballroom that includes them is usually the better buy, and by our own numbers above The Marq comes in $750 to $3,150 cheaper. We would rather tell you that now than at contract. Book this room for the standing event.
